Iran Press/Middle East: Israeli Health Minister Yaakov Litzman and his wife have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, his office said late Wednesday.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was informed of the development, the office added.
Mossad Chief Yossi Cohen and National Security Council head Meir Ben Shabbat are also entering self-isolation since they have been in contact with Litzamn, according to Israeli outlets.
The global death toll from the virus has hit 47,205 with more than 935,000 confirmed cases and about194,000 recoveries, according to the latest figures.
