According to the message released on the occasion of the 3rd of Khordad (National Day of Resistance and Victory), the IRGC Chief described the liberation of Khorramshahr after 578 days of occupation bu Iraq as a "lasting epic" where divine will and national authority shattered global arrogance.
Connecting history to the present, the Commander noted that 44 years after the liberation of Khorramshahr and the victory in Operation Beit ol-Moqaddas, the "God-sent Iranian nation" has once again emerged proud and victorious from the "Third Imposed War." He explained that this conflict was triggered by a Zionist-American terrorist attack, which resulted in the martyrdom of the former Great Leader of the Revolution, as well as Armed Forces commanders and students in Minab.
The message highlighted that following 40 days of crushing resistance and a "decisive and devastating" response by the powerful people-based IRGC and armed forces, the abject enemy was forced to request a ceasefire in humiliation and now watches the roar of Iranians demanding vengeance for the martyred leader.
The Commander outlined several strategic points, emphasizing that the Third Imposed War was a hybrid conflict, but the enemy's "satanic" tactics were neutralized by a crushing and instructive response from the armed forces backed by the people. He stressed the "lesson of Khorramshahr," stating that reliance on internal power and active deterrence—citing Iran’s nuclear, missile, and defensive advancements—has forced enemies to recalculate.
Furthermore, the message declared that the country's armed forces are at the highest level of readiness and active deterrence across all dimensions, including missile, aerial, naval, ground, space, and cyber domains. It warned that any renewed aggression by the enemy would be met with a "devastating and hellish" response on a regional and trans-regional scale.
IRGC Commander identified the "determined and passionate presence of the people" as the nation's greatest strategic asset, acting as an impermeable barrier against infiltration. He also held the liberation of Khorramshar as a lasting model for the future liberation of Jerusalem and the destruction of the "evil Zionist regime" by the Axis of Resistance.
Concluding the message, the IRGC leadership renewed its covenant with the high ideals of the Imams of the Revolution and the martyrs of the three imposed wars. It declared obedience to the Supreme Leader and Commander-in-Chief, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei.
The message ended with a strong affirmation: "Undoubtedly, the great and wise Iranian nation, in the atmosphere of negotiations to end the war, by maintaining and deepening unity and insight, and by monitoring the positions and behaviors of the deceitful and covenant-breaking enemy, will neutralize and foil their plots."
The statement concluded with the Quranic verse: "If you help Allah, He will help you and stabilize your footsteps."
