A coalition of eight Arab and Islamic nations has strongly condemned Israeli regime's Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir for his actions toward participants of a Gaza-bound flotilla, denouncing the "deliberate public humiliation" of detainees while in Israeli custody.

In a statement released on Sunday, the foreign ministers of the "Group of Eight"—which includes Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Indonesia, and Pakistan—expressed outrage over the incident. The condemnation follows the release of a video showing Ben-Gvir taunting activists who were pinned to the ground during their detention.

The detainees, who were attempting to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, have faced physical assault while in custody.

The joint statement by the Arab-Islamic states was scathing, accusing the far-right Zionist police minister of violating international norms. "Ben-Gvir's deliberate public humiliation of detainees is a disgraceful assault on human dignity and a clear violation of Israel's obligations under international law, including international humanitarian law, and international human rights law," the ministers declared.
