Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the government remains focused on improving people’s livelihoods and reaffirmed Iran’s stance on regional stability and nuclear policy during a visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) headquarters.

Speaking to an IRIB News Agency reporter on the sidelines of the visit, Pezeshkian hailed IRIB’s staff and management for their performance during the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran.

“I say well done to all the staff and managers of IRIB. Without a doubt, the role that IRIB plays in maintaining the people’s presence on the scene is an influential one,” he said.

The president stated that addressing economic concerns remains the government’s top priority. “Despite all the problems, we are pursuing the people’s livelihood issues; our managers and officials are working around the clock to respond to the needs of the people,” he said.

Commenting on recent negotiations between Tehran and Washington, Pezeshkian reiterated Iran’s position regarding its nuclear program and regional policy:
“In the era of our martyred Imam, we declared and we declare now as well, that we are ready to assure the world that we are not seeking nuclear weapons, we are not seeking unrest in the region. The one who seeks to create unrest in the region is the Israeli regime, which is pursuing the ‘Greater Israel’ plan.”

Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran’s negotiating team would not compromise on national dignity.
