Tehran (IP) - The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said in a meeting of people, state officials, and ambassadors of Islamic countries: "Today's strategy of the Islamic world should be to help and strengthen the fighting elements inside Palestine."

Iran PressIran news: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution called unity an urgent and necessary need of the Islamic Ummah in a meeting with a group of people, state officials, and ambassadors of Islamic countries on Saturday and referred to the noticeable decline of the Israeli regime and the obvious reduction of its deterrent power.

"This important progress has happened thanks to the standing and resistance of the Palestinian nation and youth, and today's strategy of the Islamic world should be focused on helping and strengthening the fighting elements inside Palestine," the Leader noted.

Ayatollah Khamenei called the month of Ramadan the basis for bringing the hearts of Muslims closer to each other and added: "The officials of Islamic countries should use this opportunity to create unity among the Islamic Ummah and reduce and resolve differences".

Pointing to the problems of Islamic countries, including war and conflict, dependence, poverty, and the lack of scientific progress, the Leader of the revolution said: "If the Quranic commandment of the "Divine Unity" is followed, the Islamic world with a population of about two billion and having the most important and the most sensitive geographical points of the world can take a step towards solving problems".

Ayatollah Khamenei considered the issue of Palestine as one of the most fundamental issues of the Islamic world, and referring to the gradual decline of the usurping regime, added: "This decline, which started a few years ago, has now accelerated, and the Islamic world should take advantage of this great opportunity."

The Leader highlighted the issue of Palestine as not only Islamic but also human and referred to the Quds Day rallies in non-Islamic countries, stating: "Anti-Zionist gatherings on the Quds Day in the US and European countries are the result of the increasing revelation of the crimes of the usurping Zionists".

The Leader of the revolution went on to say: "The presence of a number of European people in support of the Palestinian people is very important, especially in the countries that are dependent on the Zionists."

Ayatollah Khamenei called the main cause of the miserable state of the usurper regime the blessed internal resistance of the Palestinian people and the risk-taking and sacrifice of its youth and emphasized: "The current situation in the occupied territories proves that the more the Palestinian people resist and stand in different areas, the weaker the fake regime will be."

Ayatollah Khamenei considered the deterrence power of the Israeli regime to be coming to an end and said: "Several decades ago, Ben-Gurion, one of the founders of the fake regime, said that whenever our deterrence power ends, we will be destroyed, and now the world is witnessing this fact and if nothing happens the end of the usurping regime is near, which is one of the blessings of the sacrifices of Palestinian youth in the West Bank and other occupied areas."

Moreover, Ayatollah Khamenei the Leader of the Islamic Revolution met with the families of some of the Basij members martyred during the 2022 street riots.

Ajamian was martyred by a group of rioters in early November in Karaj City.

Aliverdi, 21, was also severely beaten and injured by the rioters in Tehran and then was martyred.

Unrest in Iran broke out after Mahsa Amini fainted at a police station on September 13 and died three days later in a hospital.

The Iranian forensic authorities investigated the cause of the death and said she died of a chronic disease.

The peaceful demonstrations were quickly hijacked by foreign-backed rioters who took advantage of the opportunity to destabilize the country.
