Speaking before Tehran's friday prayers, he stressed Iran’s air defense systems were developed using indigenous knowledge and domestic capabilities, without reliance on foreign countries.
General Elhami said the systems were deployed and used in combat, successfully destroying hostile enemy aircraft.
He said the Iranian Armed Forces demonstrated that even advanced and technologically sophisticated enemy aircraft can enter the battlefield, but their technology does not guarantee their return or provide them with immunity.
