Islamabad (IP)- Twenty-one terrorists were killed by Security Forces during multiple incidents in Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

According to the military’s media wing, eleven terrorists were killed during an operation against militants who had established an illegal checkpoint on the N-40 Quetta–Taftan Highway in Chagai’s Nokcha area.

In a separate incident, ten terrorists were killed after Fitna al-Khawarij militants launched a coordinated attack on the Customs House in Ziarat Cross, Pishin.

The ISPR said the attack was aimed at disrupting the lawful duties of Customs officials and facilitating criminal activities in the area.

Six personnel, including two officers and a Customs official, were killed during the exchange of fire.

Sanitization operations are continuing in the surrounding areas, while Security Forces remain committed to eliminating foreign-sponsored and foreign-supported terrorism under the Azm-e-Istehkam framework.
