Before his departure, Gholam Hossein Mohseni-Ejei said the visit was being made at the official invitation of India’s top judicial authority to attend the BRICS summit for the member states' judiciary chiefs.
The Iranian Judiciary Chief said that he would seek to convey to the world the voice of the Iranian people, whom he described as steadfast and committed in their opposition to the acts of aggression and domination commites against Iran by the U.S..
Mohseni-Ejei said the world is undergoing major transformation and that the system of global domination is in decline. He stressed that independent countries should play an effective role in these changes, adding that the world is moving away from the unilateralism of hegemonic powers and that BRICS members can make a meaningful contribution to this process.
The visit will focus on key issues including legal matters, facilitating global trade, exchanging experiences in combating transnational crime, and strengthening cooperation against unilateralism and extraterritorial sanctions.
Mohseni-Ejei’s packed schedule includes speeches at the opening and closing ceremonies of the summit, bilateral meetings with his counterparts from BRICS member states, and active participation in specialized panels and judicial working groups.
