Tehran (IP) - The Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the terrorist attack on a mosque in Pakistan's Peshawar.

Iran PressIran news: Due to a terrorist attack on the Resaldar Mosque in Peshawar, northwestern Pakistan, more than 30 people were killed, and over 50 others were wounded. 

Some of the injured are reported to be in severe condition and there the death toll is likely to rise.

The Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Saeed Khatibzadeh stated on Friday that the terrorist attack was carried out with the goal of casting division between the Muslims. 

He expressed that the Pakistani government and security officials would take the necessary measures and decisive action to stop the criminal activities of the terrorists in the country.
