Tehran (IP): The Iranian Parliament Speaker’s Special Aide for International Affairs said that Syria had entered a new phase of economic cooperation with various countries, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Thursday: “The visit of Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf to Syria took place at a time when Syria has successfully passed the military and security crisis of the terrorist war of the last 9 years and now Syria has entered a new phase of economic cooperation with various countries, especially Iran.”

He stated that removing the obstacles to economic and trade cooperation of the private and public sectors of Iran was one of the main goals of Ghalibaf's visit to Syria, and therefore these obstacles were carefully examined in meetings with senior Syrian officials.
