Tehran (IP): During a meeting with the Syrian officials in Damascus, the Vice Chairman of Iran-Syria Parliamentary Friendship Group underscored the expansion of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Iran PressIran News: Abbas Golroo, about his recent trip to Syria, said: "We had constructive and good talks with the Syrian officials within the framework of parliamentary goals."

Golroo added: "Assessment of the situation in Syria, political and economic situation and assessment of bilateral relations and regional developments were the main topics of discussion between Iranian and Syrian parliamentary officials."

Pointing to the US sanctions against Iran and Syria, said Golroo: "Due to the sanctions that both sides are facing, we must take joint measures to neutralize the sanctions and reduce their impacts."

Iran's Parliamentary delegation headed by Abbas Golroo, Vice President of the Iran-Syria Parliamentary Friendship Group, met with the Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mikdad in Damascus on Thursday to review bilateral relations between the two countries.
