Health spox: COVID-19 death toll reaches 80 in Iran

IRAN (IP)- Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Friday that the death toll from COVID-19 in Iran had reached 58,336, noting that the disease has taken the lives of 80 patients over the past 24 hours.

Iran PressIran News: The total number of COVID-19 patients in the country reached 1,452,387, the official stated.

Sima Sadat Lari noted, "Fortunately, 1,241,320 patients have recovered or discharged from hospitals so far. 3819 patients with COVID-19 are cared for in the intensive care units of hospitals."

So far, 9,557,624 COVID-19 diagnostic tests have been performed in the country.
