While diplomatic efforts continue at the UN, clashes on the ground persist. Lebanon’s Hezbollah issued a statement announcing that it had conducted 41 operations over the past 24 hours, targeting Israeli war equipment and military positions in response to the ongoing aggression.
Regionally, political leaders are weighing in on the escalating conflict. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, took to social media platform X to issue a stern warning. In a message addressed to Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Ghalibaf emphasized that if the crimes of the Zionist regime in Lebanon continue, Iran will not only halt the process of dialogue but will also stand against the regime. He concluded his statement with slogans celebrating the resistance and the brotherhood between the nations of Iran and Lebanon.
