Iran, Afghanistan consult about Afghan peace process

The Iranian Foreign Ministry's special envoy for Afghanistan Mohammad Ebrahim Taherian and Former President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai discussed the latest developments in the Afghan peace process.

Iran Press/Asia: Mohammad Ebrahim Taherian met with former President of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai in Kabul on Thursday, consulting about the situation in the region, the latest developments in the Afghan peace process and the next steps in this regard.

Taherian and Karzai talked about the Afghan peace process at a time when peace talks between Afghanistan and the Taliban are set to begin soon in Doha, Qatar.
