Tehran (IP) - Special Assistant to the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament for International Affairs said the COVID-19 crisis proved that the US hegemony is neither capable of governing the world nor it can govern its country.

Iran PressIran News: In his latest tweet released on Monday night, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said: "Coronavirus crisis proves the US hegemony is incapable of the world's management but also demonstrates its inability in statecraft."

He said the crisis has negated unipolar and the so-called world order claimed by mankind.

Iran's top diplomat added that the post-COVID-19 world will have another shape, with more beliefs in God's omnipotence.

Support for the US President Donald Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic has diminished over the past two weeks, according to a new survey.

Worldwide, the total number of infections recorded since the beginning of the outbreak reached more than 1,350,000. Nearly 285,000 people have recovered globally, while the global death toll has neared 75,000.
