Tehran (IP) - To consolidate bilateral ties, the Islamic Republic of Iran and Vietnam signed 3 judicial cooperation agreements.

Iran PressIran News: The agreements signed between Iran and Vietnam after 4 days of negotiation addressed legal cooperation in criminal law affairs, transference of convicts, and extradition of criminals.

As Iran's Deputy Minister of Judiciary for Human Rights and International Affairs Askar Jalalian says the documents signed were regulated based on the ministry's vision of expanding ties with other countries and will be finalized with Vietnam's Minister of Public Security's visit to Iran. 

The head of the Vietnamese delegation for his part stressed the development of legal and judicial relations between the two countries and expressed hope that the agreements signed on the threshold of the 50th establishment anniversary of Tehran- Hanoi diplomatic ties would be the beginning of the expansion of bilateral relations.
