Belgrade (IP) - The Iranian Foreign Minister says the relations between Iran and Serbia are based on constructive cooperation in different areas.

Iran PressEurope: After meeting the Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic on Sunday, Iran's FM Hossein Amir-Abdollahian appreciated his Serbian counterpart over the warm welcoming of the Iranian delegation and told the reporters that the visit was carried out at the formal invitation of the Serbian FM.

Amir-Abdollahian then congratulated the 85th anniversary of Ira-Serbia maintenance of relations and said that the ties had been established on constructive cooperation of the two countries in various fields. 

Iran's FM Hossein Amir-Abdollahian left Tehran for Belgrade on Sunday, leading a diplomatic delegation.  

Discussing bilateral and international issues was reported as one of the pivots of the two countries' FMs.
