Amir Hossein Zare, the representative of 125 kg weight Iran, won the bronze medal in the freestyle wrestling competition of the world championship in Serbia.

Iran PressEurope: The ranking matches and finals of the 70, 79, 86, and 125 kg weight categories of the world championship freestyle wrestling competitions were held on Friday evening in Belgrade, where Amir Hossein Zare won the heavyweight bronze medal.

Amir Hossein Zare defeated Amarveer Dhesi from Canada with a score of 8 to 0 in the 125 kg classification match and won the bronze medal.

From this, Hassan Yazdani and Mohammad Nakhudi managed to win two silver medals for Iran's free wrestling convoy in the weights of 86 and 79 kg.

Also, on Friday, the preliminary matches of 57, 74 and 92 kg weights of the World Freestyle Wrestling Championship were held in Belgrade, Serbia. In the end, Kamran Ghasempour qualified for the finals at 92 kg and Younis Emami qualified for the classification match at 74 kg. 219
