Nearly 1,900k people contract COVID-19 in Iran

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Thursday that so far, 1,897,314 people in the country had contracted coronavirus, and 1,626,144 recovered.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to April 01, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 11,750 cases out of whom 1,371 patients were hospitalized, Sima Sadat Lari stated.

She noted that in the past 24 hours, 94 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 62,759.

3,989 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 12,893,317 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 32 cities are in red, and 85 are in the orange zones and 59 in blue.
