1000 patients hospitalize due to COVID-19 infection in past 24 hours: Spox

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry spokeswoman announced on Tuesday that in the past 24 hours, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 10,250 cases out of whom 1,039 patients were hospitalized.

Iran Press/Iran News: Sima Sadat Lari said in the past 24 hours, 91 COVID-19 patients had lost their lives, bringing the total death toll to 62,569.

According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 30, 2021, newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 10,250 cases out of whom 1,039 patients were hospitalized, Lari stated.

She noted that so far, 1,875,234 people in the country had contracted coronavirus, and 1,608,807 recovered.

3,953 COVID-19 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.

So far, 12,751,397 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across the country, the Health Ministry spokeswoman pointed.

According to the latest analysis, 25 cities are in red, 56 in orange, 277 in yellow, and 90 in blue zones.
