Iranian medalist boxers to scoop mega money bonus

Tehran (IP) - The President of the Iranian Boxing Federation said that Iranian boxers who would win medals in the Asian Championships would receive a reward of 200 million Tomans.

Iran PressIran news: In a telephone interview with Iran Press News Agency, Hossein Souri added: "In the Asian Boxing Championships that are being held in Dubai, UAE, two Iranian boxers have reached the finals, and two Iranian boxers have also won bronze medals, and therefore the sponsor for Iran’s Boxing Federation has allocated a reward of 200 million for these medalists.

The President of the Iranian Boxing Federation said: "Of course, the Asian Boxing Confederation will award prizes from $ 2,500 to $ 10,000 to the first to third champions of the medal winners of the recent Asian Championships."

Hossein Souri added: "Certainly, the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the National Olympic Committee will also award prizes to these medalists, which will be announced in due course."

In the Asian Boxing Championship and 60 kg, Danial Shahbakhsh, the Iranian Olympic boxer, reached the final match, and in the final game, he will face Erdenebatyn Tsendbaatar from Mongolia.

Also, Meysam Gheshlaghi, the Iranian boxing Guru in the 81 kg weight category, will have to compete with Dilshodbek Ruzmetov of Uzbekistan for the gold medal qualifying for the final match.

But in 75 and 91 kg weights, Sayyed Shahin Mousavi and Pouria Amiri also won bronze medals in the Asian Championships.
