Iranian Foreign Minister arrived in Baghdad, capital city of Iraq on Saturday evening to confer with senior Iraqi officials.

Iran Press/Middle East: Heading a top political delegation, Mohammad Javad Zairf has arrived in Iraqi capital of Baghdad to consult with Iraqi officials.

Mohammad Javad Zarif will meet high-ranking Iraqi officials, including his Iraqi counterpart, IRNA reported.

Zarif's trip is taking place in continuation of his recent tour of Asian countries one day after departing Islamabad for Tehran.

Iranian FM arrived in Baghdad at a time when deployment of an extra 1,500 US soldiers has increased tensions in the region.

Iran has strongly condemned US militarization of the region. 101/211/205
