Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said during a commemoration ceremony for the martyred foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran that all members of Iran's government are on the same front, each assigned a distinct mission in service of the sacred system and the beloved Iran.

He said the Foreign Ministry has been tasked with serving as Iran’s voice abroad and defending its interests in diplomatic arenas, while also advancing the struggle on the diplomatic front.

Araghchi said the ministry does not see its mission as separate from that of others. “Wherever we need to fight, we will fight; wherever we need to negotiate, we will negotiate,” he said. “This is the mission assigned to each of us by the system; we are fully aligned with the system and its objectives.”

He added that if the system's interests require Iran’s presence on the diplomatic, dialogue, and negotiation fronts, it will do so with the same resolve the Armed Forces show in defending the country. “I see no difference between these,” he said.
