Iran's Minister of Information and Communications Technology said that the Ministry of Communications in Mazandaran as the representative of the government is duty bound to run 'resistive economy' project.

Iran Press/Iran news: Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi said that the Communications Minister is the successor to the headquarters of the 'resistive economy' in the province.

In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Jahromi added: "All economic activities within the context of the 'resistive economy' are taking place in the framework of the resistive economy headquarters."

"Our activity in the province is not just bound to the field of Information Technology, but includes many other spheres as well," he said.

Minister of Information and Communications Technology continued: "The Mazandaran province regarding its God-given natural resources like fisheries, animal husbandry and agriculture can increase its output."

"Of course there are some limitations, but increasing productivity in different fields can be effective in making the province more productive and it also can lead us to create new jobs and increasing the GDP of the province," he added.

According to Azari Jahromi, the thing that drives this province's advancement and development is communications and technology (ICT) in agriculture, industry development, etc.

"All the activities of the startups and other industrial and agricultural technologies, use the communication and technology infrastructure," the Iranian minister added.
