Fatah Alliance leader Hadi Al-Amiri

The head of Iraq's Fatah Alliance said Saturday night the country faces "a great sedition" and that the US and the Zionist regime are inciting the violence.

Iran Press/Middle East: "There are people in Iraq who want to bring this country into turmoil," al-Ameri said.

"Iraq is today in great turmoil and Israel and America are behind it," he added, according to the Al-Mayadeen news channel.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, secretary-general of the Asa'eb Ahl al-Haq movement, referred to the US and the Zionist regime involvement in the second round of protests in different Iraqi cities, describing it as a "great sedition".

He said the US and the Zionist regime are involved in some Iraqi protests and they are "responsible for the bloodshed of the protesters".

Lebanon's al-Akhbar newspaper writes that what is going on in Iraq is a coup plan involving the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and some figures in Iraqi Kurdistan, with two operating rooms in Iraq.
