US treasury issues new Iran-related sanctions

The US Department of the Treasury has issued fresh Iran-related sanctions on nine individuals and one entity.

Iran Press/America: The United States imposed sanctions on nine people and one entity tied to Iran, the US Treasury Department said on Monday.

The sanctions were announced on the US Treasury Department website, Reuters reported.

Earlier on Wednesday, the US Treasury Department also said in a statement that the US and six other countries imposed sanctions on 25 corporations, banks and people linked to Iran.
