Bosnia (IP) – Ramadan month in Bosnia is celebrated with the culture-specific elements of the country yet with other things that are common among the Muslim nations.

In Bosnia, following a tradition in Ramadan, from the highest point overlooking Sarajevo, called Juta Tabia, a cannon is fired to declare Iftar, which is the time of breaking the fast.

A kind of circle-shaped local bread called Somoon is served by the the fasting people in Iftar time and after that; they enjoy the traditional coffee that is an indispensable part of family parties.
