Bosnia (IP) – Ramadan month in Bosnia is celebrated with the culture-specific elements of the country yet with other things that are common among the Muslim nations.

Iran PressEurope: With the arrival of Ramadan, the people clean the mosques and decorate them for performing prayer and collective reciting of the holy Quran where top Qaris are present as well. 

In Bosnia, following a tradition in Ramadan, from the highest point overlooking Sarajevo, called Juta Tabia, a cannon is fired to declare Iftar, which is the time of breaking the fast.

A kind of circle-shaped local bread called Somoon is served by the the fasting people in Iftar time and after that; they enjoy the traditional coffee that is an indispensable part of family parties.
