In a statement marking the second anniversary of Martyrdome of Ismail Haniyeh, Late political leader of Hamas in a terror attack by Israeli regime in Tehran, the IRGC said retaliation for martyrdom of Iran’s Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and Ismail Haniyeh was “definite,” noting that the response would be “severe and decisive.”
The IRGC described Haniyeh’s martyrdome in Tehran while attending the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s then-President as a violation of international law and of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The statement said continued U.S. and Western support for Israel, along with the cooperation of some regional governments, had encouraged Israeli crimes in Gaza, Lebanon and against Iran.
IRGC added that the anti-Zionist resistance remained steadfast and that Palestine’s “final victory” was closer than its adversaries expected.
