In a telephone conversation, the Serbian Foreign Minister invited Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, to attend a meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade on Thursday.

Iran PressIran news: Serbian Foreign Minister Nikola Slakovic in a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amirabdollahian voiced his countries' interest in further expanding ties with Iran’s new government.

The Serbian foreign minister said that the two countries would further expand their mutual relations, which are currently very good, friendly and cordial.

He added that Serbia is interested in holding regular political talks with Iran's top officials at the highest level.

Slakovic invited his Iranian counterpart to attend the 60th anniversary of the first conference of the Non-Aligned Movement. 

The Serbian foreign minister appreciated Iran's continued support for Serbia's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as its support in international organizations. 219
