Speaking on Thursday on the occasion of A'shura, the leader of Yemen's Ansarullah movement, Abdulmalik Badreddine al-Houthi, emphasised that the Yemeni people will never surrender to the aggressive and invading Saudi-led coalition.

Middle East/ According to an Iran Press report on Thursday, the leader of the Ansarullah movement, Abdulmalik al-Houthi, in his speech on the day of A'shura in San'aa expressed his condolences on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). The leader of the Ansarullah movement poignantly added: "The resistance of the Yemeni people has scuppered the plots and schemes of Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. I urge the Yemeni people to volunteer to join the fight, particularly our fighters on the west coast of Yemen, in the battle for Hodeidah".

Elsewhere in his remarks, al-Houthi said: "No amount of killing and destruction by the enemy will force the Yemeni people to surrender!"

Turning to the issue of Palestine, Abdulmalik Badreddine al-Houthi vowed to continue supporting the Palestinian people in their long struggle against the Zionist regime of Israel. He pointedly added: "We support the resistance against US hegemony."

Saudi Arabia, with America's full backing, has been involved in a brutal military aggression and invasion of Yemen since March 2015. The United Arab Emirates is also heavily involved in the war of aggression against Yemen, being a partner of Saudi Arabia.
