Yemeni forces have reportedly fired katyusha rockets at a Saudi military site in the kingdom’s southwestern Jizan region, as the Riyadh steps up its bloody attacks against the country.

Rocketry force of the Yemeni army and popluar committees shelled on Thursday gatherings of Saudi army and its mercenaries in southern Saudi province of Jizan, a military official told Saba News Agency on Friday.

Meanwhile the jet fighters of Saudi-led coalition bombed six Yemeni provinces 47 times over the past 24 hours and massacred 13 Yemenis.

Yemeni civilians are also struggling to stay alive amid fierce ground and air attacks by Saudi-led coalition on Yemen port of Hodeidah.

The Saudi-led coalition attacks against the densely-populated city and the war-torn country’s most vital port was launched despite numerous warnings by the international community and prominent aid groups.

The Saudi coalition continues its target of civilian sites, vital facilities and infrastructure in its war on Yemen.

Since the outbreak of the war, several civilians have been injured or killed by shells and rockets. Many families have fled away. Those who are unable to leave can only stay at home.

Saudi Arabia and its allies launched the war on Yemen in March 2015 to reinstall the former Saudi-backed Hadi regime and crush the Houthi movement.
