Iran Press/ Iran News: Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote on his Instagram account: "During the transition period of the last 30 years, miscalculation has caused a lot of damage to the world. The American illusion of the new world order has brought several wars and devastation to the world, costing the American people $7 trillion. But the miscalculations of others like Saddam and Gaddafi and Milosevic have led to the destruction of themselves and even their country."
Zarif added: "Tangible changes such as the globalization of opportunities and threats from terrorism to coronavirus, ... the relative decline of traditional actors and the relative rise of emerging actors together with the end of the monopoly power of the great powers, the end of hegemony and change in the geography of power, ... and dozens of other new phenomena must be realistically identified and the best tools and opportunities to advance national interests and ensure regional and international peace."
Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs said: "To discuss and open the door to dialogue and communication, the Faculty of World Studies of the University of Tehran has provided an opportunity to present a point of view in this field in a few sessions and to expose it to discussion and criticism."
“Discussions are currently in English for international audiences, and the first session will be held this Monday from 5 to 5:45 p.m. I will be at your service through the faculty live Instagram," concluded Zarif.
