Iran Press/ Africa: In December 2023, Iran Press reported how the Nigerian military bombed Muslims who gathered in Tudun Biri village of Kaduna State in Northwestern to conduct religious activities, a sad incident that resulted in the death of almost 100 people.
During a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday, Major General Edward Buba said those involved were going to face a military court martial. He, however, did not provide further details about the disciplinary measure but said the two personnel will face military court martial for their actions.
"The military has conducted a painstaking investigation into the incident and has initiated disciplinary action against those culpable.
“Accordingly, the affected personnel are to face a court martial for acts of omission or commission concerning the incident.“I am, however, constrained not to speak much about the incident as it would be adjudged as prejudicial being a case before a court martial.“The military will take extra precautions in the future to ensure that non-combatants are safe,” he said.
