IP - Rights now on Wedensday midnight Los Angeles local time (01:00) a pro-Zionist group attacked violently to pro-Palestinian student demonstration on UCLA campus.

Iran Press/ West Asia: The attack at the pro-Palestine encampment is underway at the moment (09:00 GTM) on campus. They attack violently students at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) who are protesting Israel’s war on Gaza and calling for the divestment of the university’s financial ties to Israel.

This is the largest manifestation of the pro-Zionist, pro-Israel group of counter-protesters who are from off campus.

This is the most violent, vigilante attack against these students, alongside police crackdown. The people who are attacking are the counter-demonstrators, who are aligned with pro-Israel, pro-Zionist organizations.

There were a lot of objects thrown by the vigilante group also chemical irritants, and fireworks.

The important thing to note is that there seems to be no police intervention whatsoever.

Clashes between law enforcement and protesters are disrupting colleges across the nation, with students facing arrest or expulsion in their call for divestment from companies that support Israel and the war in Gaza.

Hours earlier, over 100 protesters were arrested at Columbia University and City College of New York, according to a law enforcement official. At Columbia, officers cleared protesters from encampments and an occupied building. The university has asked NYPD to stay on campus until May 17.

Since April 18, more than 1,000 people have been arrested on more than 25 campuses across at least 21 states.
