The vice president of Iran for Women and Family Affairs has emphasised that increasing Muslim awareness about what what Israel is doing to the Palestinians has frightened the Israeli regime.

Iran Press/Iran news: Masoumeh Ebtekar, Iran's vice president for Women and Family Affairs on the sidelines of the International Quds Day rally in Tehran, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press said: "The Islamic revolution from its earliest days supported Palestine as a symbol of a just struggle against oppression and against occupation."

Ebtekar added: "The people of Palestine have stood all these pressures and have suffered at the hands of Zionist regime of Israel and the Iranian people stand firmly with the nation of Palestine and also with all the oppressed peoples of the world."

She went on to say: "Today more and more the peoples of the world  are informed about the reality of unjust practices of the Zionist regime, they are well-informed and very much aware of what the Zionist regime is doing to the Palestinian people. This awareness is creating a lot of fear inside the Zionist regime, they are frightened by this increasing awareness, they are doing whatever they can and they have a so-called 'deal of the century' which is a very very weak deal that is not going to respond to the expectations of the Palestinian people." 211/213
