The open session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Majlis) is currently underway, with Speaker Ali Larijani and about 200 MPs attending the session.

According to an Iran Press report, the agenda of the open session of the Majlis on Sunday 2 December 2018 is as follows: 

(1) Review of a report by the Planning, Budget and Estimation Commission of the parliament (Majlis) regarding amendments to the current Budget bill (1397 -  2018).

(2) Review of a report by the Planning, Budget and Estimation Commission regarding resources, assets, consumption, expenditure, revenues, payments and budget for the previous financial year (1396 -  2017).

(3) Review of a report by the Economic Commission of the Majlis regarding the mode of use, maintenance, supervision and oversight of point-of-sales terminals and a sales mechanised fund.

(4) Review of a proposal made by a number of MPs for setting up of a special parliamentary commission for women, youngsters, and families. 

(5) Review of a report by the Industry and Mines Commission of the Majlis for restructuring and revamping of the automobile market.

(6) Review of a report by the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Majlis with regards to the Iranian government's accession to CFT (Countering Financing of Terrorism Act ).
