Iran's foreign minister and ministry of economy came to the parliament (Majlis) on Sunday to discuss Iran's joining to Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering (FATF).

The closed session of Iranian Parliament kicked off with the presence of foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and ministry of economy Masoud Karbasian to discuss Iran's joining to Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering (FATF) on Sunday, said an MP.

'The bill to join the FATF will be discussed with the presence of the foreign minister Zarif, his deputy Abbas Araqchi, and economy minister Karbasian in a closed session,' said Fatemeh Zolqadr.'

The head of Iranian Parliament research center, the head of economy committee, and some representatives will deliver speeches in the meeting.

'Iranian Parliament has already approved the FATF law, but has not discussed the bill of joining the FATF international convention.
