Lebanon's Hezbollah Secretary-General warned the US over a possible war against Iran, stressing that the war means a fight against the whole axis of resistance which flams the whole region.

Iran Press/Middle East: "Donald Trump's withdrawing from its claim of war against Iran is due to the fact that he found out Iran is strong and brave; with downing the US spy drone and the arrest of the British 'Stena Impro' ship, Iran proved its bravery," Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Friday, delivering a speech on the occasion of 13th anniversary of Lebanon's victory in the Israeli-imposed 33-day war in 2006.

Lebanon's Hezbollah leader said that the security and deterrent power which Lebanon enjoys today is the result of hard work and sacrifice, Iran Press reported.

The enemy's fear of attacking Lebanon, Nasrallah noted, has not been created out of delivering speeches and chanting slogans, but it has been created out of working days and nights since 1982.

The war triggered in 2006 aimed at creating the new Middle East and acted as a complementary part of the US war in the region, the Lebanese leader noted.

"The 33-day war was a starting point of attempts made for destroying Resistance, subverting Syria's government, and consolidating the US occupation in Iraq," Nasrallah said, adding: "in case the Israeli regime kept on the war, then it would face a huge disaster; on the other hand, the humanitarian condition of the war made content with the end of war."

He also referred to the US role in the 33-day war, saying that John Bolton, US National Security Advisor, had told to Arab countries in New York that "the war would continue until Hezbollah was defeated and disarmed", but the equipment we have today are not at all comparable to our situation in the 33-day war, Nasrallah noted.

Hezbollah Secretary General warned the Israeli regime in case of another aggression to Lebanon, the regime will see the total destruction of its brigades.

He said that what happened in the 33-day war was a victory from Allah the Almighty, something that could be interpreted in no other way.
