President Raisi:

Tehran (IP) - The Iranian President and Chinese Deputy Prime Minister met on Tuesday and discussed ways to develop cooperation between the two sides.

Iran PressIran News: In the meeting, Ebrahim Raisi said: "Relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and China have been expanding since the beginning of the victory of Iran's Islamic Revolution, but some positions raised during the recent visit of the President of China to the region have caused the dissatisfaction of Iranians. Iran seriously wants to compensate the positions.

Conveying the greetings of Chinese President Xi Jinping to the Iranian President, Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Hu Chunhua emphasized China's will to develop relations with a strong Iran as a permanent and an unchanging strategy of the country. 

He said: "China's determination to strengthen and deepen relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran will continue regardless of regional and international developments."

The Deputy Prime Minister of China stated: "China has always respected the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran and supports Iran's efforts to secure its basic interests."

He also presented a report on his meetings with Iranian officials to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

With the beginning of the joint investment operation of tens of billions of dollars and the development of economic, industrial, energy, transit, financial, and banking cooperation, the two sides will take a big step toward the implementation of strategic and development cooperation.

Hu Chunhua arrived in Iran on Monday in order to develop relations between Iran and China.
