In a statement, Zolqadr said Iran would not allow its territory or strategic corridors to be used as a safe passage for threats against the country’s national and religious values.
He said the wars and acts of aggression against Iran and its allies in Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen and Iraq must come to an end permanently.
Zolqadr also called for an end to the maritime blockade on Iran, saying military forces operating in the region’s waters and airspace must withdraw from around the country.
Among Tehran’s other demands, he listed full compensation for losses incurred during two imposed, aggressive wars on Iran, the lifting of unjust and illegal sanctions, and the unconditional release of Iranian assets that have been frozen or seized by the U.S.
“These are the demands of the Iranian people,” Zolqadr stressed, referring to their presence in the streets and public spaces during 36 days of war.
“The Supreme National Security Council will never back down, whether in war or in negotiations,” he noted.
