Demonstrators called on the Greek government to suspend visa-free entry for Israeli citizens and soldiers, introduce stricter screening measures and exclude Israeli nationals from the country’s Golden Visa program.
Protesters also demanded an end to Greece’s military agreements with Israel and chanted slogans in support of Palestinian freedom.
Tensions were reported between Israeli settlers and local protesters in Athens.
The Israeli regime’s Foreign Ministry urged its settlers in Greece to remain vigilant and avoid publicly identifying themselves.
