The Turkish Foreign Ministry announced in a statement the visit of the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to the Turkish capital, Ankara, on Monday.

Iran PressAsia:  The Turkish Foreign Ministry announced the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian to Ankara to hold talks with Turkish officials on bilateral issues and current developments in the region and the world.

Iran and Türkiye are influential countries in the region due to geopolitical issues, common history, cultural ties, demographic structures, and natural resources, therefore the deepening of relations between the two countries is an important factor in creating stability and guaranteeing regional security.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu had recently invited him to visit Ankara in a telephone conversation with Amir Abdollahian (June 14). 219
