COVID-19 in Iran takes 146 lives in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Friday that COVID-19 had taken the lives of 146 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 85,543.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to July 09, 2021, (Friday) 3,344,122 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,995,195 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 16,596 cases, out of whom 1,759 patients were hospitalized.

3,506 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 24,358,872 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 120 cities are red, 182 are orange, and 146 are yellow zones.

So far, 4,529,845 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 2,128,510 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 6,658,695 doses.
