On the occasion of Government Week, the "Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center for Publishing" of Iran's Book and Literature House, along with the "Permanent Exhibition of Selected Books of the Islamic Republic of Iran," was officially opened in Tehran.

The ceremony took place on Tuesday, August 25, at the Research Institute of Culture, Art, and Architecture, with Abbas Salehi, Minister of Culture, and several cultural officials, publishers, writers, and media representatives in attendance.

The newly established center aims to support innovative and entrepreneurial capacities within the publishing industry, bridge the gap between traditional publishing and modern technologies, and foster collaboration with knowledge‑based companies, startups, and the creative economy.

It seeks to facilitate the emergence of new businesses and the development of technological solutions across the entire value chain of book production, distribution, and sales. By backing novel ideas, the center aspires to drive technological transformation and commercialisation in Iran’s publishing sector.

Concurrently, the Permanent Exhibition of Selected Books was inaugurated to showcase outstanding and significant works in books and publishing, making them accessible to cultural enthusiasts and professionals.
