The Media Center of Iran's Parliament has strongly reacted to a fake news post by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, noting such lies cannot cover the U.S. defeats.

The statement says:

- The U.S. president, whose false statements have reportedly exceeded 32,000, has once again resorted to fabricating news and engaging in a dirty media campaign to conceal his military failures and salvage his image before American and global public opinion.

- By knowingly publishing a distorted account of Speaker Qalibaf's remarks on his personal page, Trump is persisting in his pattern of deception while attempting to extricate himself from a crisis of his own making.

- Lies, distortion of reality, and reliance on fake news are the enemy's standard tactics, especially the delusional U.S. president, who seeks to manufacture achievements through the media.

- Trump had already dragged U.S. foreign policy into crisis using the same rotten rope of fake news and by playing into Netanyahu's agenda. His recent war imposed high costs on the American people, including a gasoline crisis and unprecedented inflation, while his hands remain stained with the blood of innocent Iranian civilians and their martyred Leader.

- The full video of Dr. Qalibaf's session is available to the public. The stark contrast between the actual text of his remarks and the fabricated headlines by fake news outlets represents yet another scandal for the U.S. president's disinformation campaigns. The truth on the ground is clear: Iran stands not from a position of weakness, but from a position of strength.

- Trump must understand that tweeting fabricated news will not change the harsh realities of the region or the new order taking shape under the Islamic Republic's strength.
