Iran: COVID-19 takes 136 lives in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that COVID-19 had taken the lives of 136 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 85,397.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to July 08, 2021, 3,327,526 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,981,019 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 23,391 cases, out of whom 1,706 patients were hospitalized.

3,420 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 24,276,402 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 120 cities are red, 182 are orange, and 146 are yellow zones.

So far, 4,517,607 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 2,090,510 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 6,608,117 doses.
