Meeting with Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Tehran, the Lebanese MP Hassan Fadlallah lauded the “epic defense” mounted by the Iranian nation in response to recent U.S.-Israeli war on Iran, describing the move as a moment of historic vindication.
“Iran’s authoritative diplomacy has not only stabilized the Islamic Republic’s position but has become a source of profound pride for all the oppressed peoples of the region and free nations worldwide,” Fadlallah stated.
Beyond the diplomatic praise, Fadlallah provided a stark briefing on the escalating situation in Lebanon, characterizing the ongoing conflict as a direct outcome of the Zionist regime’s unrelenting aggression and occupation.
Highlighting the gravity of the crisis, he specifically thanked the Iranian Foreign Minister for his proactive efforts in international arenas to advocate for the Lebanese people and the Resistance.
Fadlallah concluded his remarks with an urgent call for regional unity. He emphasized that the current scope of the Zionist regime’s expansionism, spanning Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank, demands that Islamic nations transcend rhetoric. He called for a “coherent and decisive” unified strategy from Muslim states to confront the crimes being committed against the region’s populations.
Araghchi, for his part, reaffirmed Iran’s unwavering stance, praising the “honorable resistance and steadfastness” of the Lebanese people. He pledged that the Islamic Republic remains fully committed to supporting Lebanon’s defense of its national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and dignity against brutal aggression.
