Iran: COVID-19 kills 165 patients in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that COVID-19 had killed 165 patients in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 79,384.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 27, 2021, 2,875,858 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 540of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 9,994 cases, out of whom 1,322 patients were hospitalized. 4,475 COVID-19 patients are in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

So far, 19,430,249 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 8 cities are red, 233 are orange, and 207are yellow zones.

So far, 3,005,632 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 493,931 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 3,499,563 doses.
