Iran: 310 died of COVID-19 round the clock

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that in the past 24 hours, 310 people had died of COVID-19, bringing the total death toll to 77,532.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to May 18, 2021, 2,779,415 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 2,258,046 of the total infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 13,930 cases, out of whom 2,102 patients were hospitalized.

5,173 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 18,285,393 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 3 cities are red, 262 are orange, and 183 are yellow zones.

So far, 2,163,641 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 407,519 people have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 2,571,160 doses.
